Edgar

Promoter and enthusiast of bicycles, I believe that we can better inhabit the city where we live if we become more aware and responsible for our way of traveling and recreation.

My academic training in the humanities has led me to reflect on the diversity of experiences of appreciation, enjoyment, and action that we generate as beings in a shared environment. That is exactly what I try to convey as a guide to the visitors who accompany us.

Erika

With a Ph.D. in Humanities, I consider myself a lifelong learner. I’m interested in little stories and art or the aesthetics of everyday life. At Biketitlan, I take care of the visual design. I also propose ideas to create authentic experiences and connect with the people of the host neighborhoods, inviting them to show their perspectives, knowledge, and experiences to travelers.

Francesco

Neapolitan archaeologist. Resident in Mexico for several years. I started as a tour guide in Florence, where I experienced the most damaging aspects of mass tourism. Since then, as a cycling lover, I started promoting cycling tourism activities and forms of alternative tourism in Florence, Barcelona, and Mexico City.

Curious and friendly, I like to learn and share new things and enjoy Mexican food. I consider myself Mexican adopted %22as el pulque y el nopal%22; however, my passport says otherwise.

Javier

Architecture and DIY lover. Chronicler by passion, plastic artist, and esthete of life in general. The bicycle has always accompanied me to be a flaneur in the “old iron city.”

Ollinka

Geographer by training, dancer by religion. The bicycle is one more extension of my body. It’s my prosthesis. At the pace that I have, the places I travel are more digestible, more accessible. It is easier to pause to get closer to know, to interact, to talk. In this way, coexistence is cultivated, and with it, diversity appear.

Ana Laura

Biologist and pastry lover. I enjoy dealing with people of different origins and sharing a taste for the good things in life. In addition to guiding, I take the accounting and administration of our project.

Ángela

Art historian. Japan lover. I am interested in Asian culture in all its forms. I love languages: I study Chinese and German. I like to dance and be in nature. At Biketitlan, I take care of social networks, institutional links, and anything that makes me stay in contact with people!
